A website, with a clear direction.

Your website needs to explain your work and make people want to get in touch. Before designing pages, we clarify the audience, the message and the journey connecting them.

A specific use.

  • A new business

Organise your offers and the questions your website needs to answer.

  • A changing position

Identify what to keep, rewrite or reorganise on the current website.

  • A more expressive experience

Define where animation helps without interrupting reading or mobile navigation.

What you get from the brief.

  1. A considered site structure

The useful pages, their purpose and the links leading towards an enquiry.

A page map you can read in one screen, with a one-line brief under each page.

  2. A prototype of key pages

Content hierarchy and a visual direction to review together.

A design file of three pages drawn to scale, home included, opened by a link anyone on your side can comment on.

  3. A delivery scope

The content, integrations and decisions that shape the development proposal.

A document of eight to twelve pages, agreed on both sides and attached to the build quote.

How long it takes.

Two to three weeks between the first working session and the scope document. The page map comes back at the end of week one, early enough to argue with before a single screen is designed.

What we need from you.

  1. Your offer, in your own words

An hour of conversation about what you sell and to whom, recorded with your agreement. Pages written from a brochure answer questions nobody asked.

  2. What your current pages already tell you

Read access to your analytics, or a year of traffic exports. The pages people already reach are rarely the ones you would have kept.

  3. One session with whoever answers enquiries

The person who replies to incoming messages knows which questions keep coming back. Those questions become the structure of the site.

The same project, at another stage.
